Cross-country skiing fun in the sun
Everyone is talking about the fantastic cross-country skiing on offer in our sun-drenched region. On 55 km of double track & skating trails, there is something to suit everyone. There are also practice trails for beginners, panoramic trails and beautiful dog hiking trails.
Along the shores of the lake, beginners and advanced skiers enjoy the gently undulating landscape, especially on the popular Seewiesen trail. Professional skiers also put their skills to the test on the more demanding trails. The 10 km Franz Josephs Höhe high-altitude trail is a particular highlight.
You can hire equipment at Alpensport Weissensee in Techendorf. The Weissensee Ski and Cross-Country School offers cross-country ski courses for beginners and advanced skiers.
