Our cuisine
Cooking with passion and creativity – with no "fuss and frills"
The food we serve is fresh and creative. It is a great pleasure to spoil our guests with delicious dishes that have been created with love. We use herbs from our own herb garden, regional foods, meat from local farmers and organic products from the Jakober farm (organic farmer on Lake Weissensee).
We also attach great importance to preparing healthy, low-fat meals. It goes without saying that we cook seasonally based on what is currently blooming and growing, and home-style cooking (Carinthian cuisine) also has its place on our menu – down-to-earth with a twist.
Our chef Birgit: "I didn't learn to cook as a profession, but I can now say with certainty that cooking is my vocation!"
She is also known for her surprise menus. Her "internships" with Wohlfahrt, Lafer, Sieberer and others have made their mark on the hotel's excellent cuisine that is full of finesse. Eating must be fun and it must be a pleasure to come to the table.
